Is there anyone that can suggest a good place to find information about Statutory Sick Pay and payment of this to temps. From looking at the DWP website it would appear that potentially someone could start a role, go on sick half-way through their first day of work and then claim SSP for the next 22 weeks. Surely this can't be right?

How about looking at this from another angle? Why not use an employment management company that looks after temps ...
