Apologies if this has already been covered in earlier posts.....

I am another home worker and I want to make sure I am doing the right thing when checking IDs. I am a solo IT recruiter and operate mainly by phone/email to keep costs down.

Normally I get the candidate to scan their ID and get them to email it to me. I then also them to take the same passport with them on their first day for the client to check the original face to face.

Is this ok? Or if not, does anyone know if there is a service I could pay (hopefully not too much!) for to check IDs for me?

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
