Hi Guys,

I am thinking of choosing Broadbean or Conkers to help with job postings. I know that the prices vary heavily.

Has anyone signed any deals with Broadbean / Conker and how much how did they get the deal for?

All advice much appreciated,

Dave

Whatever happened to websalvo? The market used to be full of multi-posting firms, seems to be only a couple left?

Broadbean has worked v well for us, we recently got offers to use Idibu but they were basically the same and more money! Luckily the database we use allows us to submit our jobs direct to broadbean and our website, makes life much easier.

As a job board providing a service to recruitment agencies and employers, we had to decide which service we wished to integrate with between both BroadBean and Conkers (we will probably end up with both eventually). We received many emails asking if we were compatible and I have to say that 90% were asking about BroadBean.

BROADBEAN definately.

I manage all recruitment advertising within jjFOX, and I signed up with Broadbean at the end of December 07. I am so impressed with their product and the Adcourier service that I find myself selling it to all the new companies that call me each week.

It's not something I would do or have done for anyone or anything else, but their customer service and culture is so uniquely great, I just can't help myself.

I wouldn't consider using anyone, and I can say that with ease, and I'm yet to hear any different from the people I have so far recommended it too.

We love you BEAN

Bit confused as regards pricing as the prices Broadbean have quoted me in the past have been up to five times what I am paying for Idibu. Waht sort of prices are people paying for Broadbean as their site does not caopntain any figures?

I work for http://www.sheqjobs.com and we're often approached by these companies, I think they certainly have some value but my concern is that they charge both ends. They charge the agency for the service and they charge the job board for the privilege of using their product.

Idibu however seem to be cheaper to me in all respects, does anyone else have any experience of to help?

Dom,

Broadbean didnt charge when they started out. They only charge job boards now because they claim they are one of the largest providers and that Job boards somehow need to be integrated with them as a result?.

The fact is that none of these providers have that many clients in relation to the size of the market. Currently Broadbean have been issuing a press release out on Onrec every time they renew an account so its obviously news to them that some clients renew these expensive arrangements!.

Ive posted before that i find the whole concept of a multi poster selling additional services complete window dressing and a total waste of time. "A pig in a dress is still a pig!" but clearly some cash rich recruiters love to buy these dresses and are happy to chuck a few grand at broadbean a year when they can buy a basic multi posting tool from other providers for £250 - technology is cheap these days!.

In all Braodbean prove that there is a market for expensive multi posting tools but its not an essential option and a recruiter can use alternative options
