Hi Jo,
Nice to meet you and welcome. I'm in a similar situation to you just starting out on my own and it seems like a minefield at the moment. Can't seem to find the time to get organised enough as I'm spending way too much time considering the business side of things, so I empathise with what you are doing and I wish you every success for the future. This forum is friendly and there are a huge amount of people in the same situation with lot's of advice and support for others you will enjoy this forum as much as I do. I can take a break and go on and just read the postings and find great advice. Good luck Jo. Take care and bye for now. Kind regards Linda. |

Hi Jo,
Welcome to the forums, I hope you'll find them as rewarding and insightful as I have over recent months. There is a great deal of expert advice and guidance on hand alongside some very supportive and decent people who will do what they can to answer questions and provide opinions on a range of subjects.
With 20 years high street recruitment experience under your belt, I'd suggest that I may be coming to you for advice and not the other way round, but my pearl of advice for today would be to register on Linked-In, build a profile and get networking. I've been doing this for a few months and it's proved to be a very cost effective (Free in most cases) tool which has generated a lot of business leads alongside candidates. If you are not already using it, then it might just be worth a closer look.
The best of luck with your new business!
Ruffski |
