Ian
I see that you already have a reply from Creditsafe direct, however I was going to post that we use Creditsafe. To be fair it is the only credit checking system that I have used so can't compare it to any other, however I do know that it has been very useful for us and I would certainly recommend that you take up the trial offer.

Hi Ian,
There are lots of credit checking organisations. The question to aks is, "Are their numbers of any use?".
I would not recommend any company that is not recongnised by credit insureres so whoever you chose, do find out which insurers rely on their numbers.
If not I'll charge you less than anyone else and give you whatever numbers you like. :-)
Seriously, my favourite is Graydons. They are big, respond quickly to the market and are recongnised by vitually every credit insurer (not AIG though who do their own - soon to be AIU after the Fed bail out ?) although many like Dun & Bradstreet who are probably the most well known.
Hope that helps. Tom. |

interestincredit, we currently pay £420 per annum for a 'Mix Freedom Package' which is up 49,999 limited company/plc searches plus 49,999 non-limited company searches plus 49,999 director searches.
As each of these works at out at around 192 searches per working day of the year, this is effectively unlimited searching, or it is for us anyway.
The package also includes 2,000 'Risk Trackers' where you can monitor a company and if any of the information held on that company changes, you receive an email to notify you.
Hope that helps.
Andy
